STUDYING IN UDINE
All seven students came to Udine at March 1, 2008. Their tutor during the stay in Udine, Prof. Osman Ahmed Bashir, wishes them welcome at the airport and helps them for accommodation. In following days, representative of the International Students Service, Miss Alessia Bruno, realized all necessary administrative procedures related to permissions of stay and health insurances for all students from Serbian Universities. Eventually they have been enrolled to second semester of second year of study.
Meeting with project grantholder, prof. Alessio Lokar, was also organized. He wishes them welcome too and discuss with them about next study period and courses they have been chosen. During this meeting many topics have been discussed.
Few weeks after two members of the Commission for student’s selection prof. Momcilo Djordjevic and Igor Milanovic visited the University of Udine. During this visit meeting with project grantholder, prof. Alessio Lokar, Osman Ahmed Bashir and students was organized. It was concluded that except few accommodation problems adaptation period was ended successfully. It was pointed out that in next period biggest problem for students could be knowledge of Italian language especially technicality part that many professors are using during teaching. Also, terms for advanced Italian language course which Serbian students should attend are overlapping with regular course they have already chosen.
Eventually, all seven students passed all chosen exams (22 in total) as well as advanced Italian language course with best marks. All passed exams will be recognized at their home institutions and they will enroll III year of study in Serbia.
